Having the Pro Bowl one week before the Super Bowl is just dumb. And the reasons I state this for are obvious. But I will state them anyway not everyone likes Pro football but they can have an opinion.

First its about the players and though its a honor to be selected but its not mandatory to show up and play. But one week before the Biggest game of the year and for many a once in a career chance to play in it. Many of the best players come from the two teams that will play in the Super Bowl which makes perfect sense.

But why would or should a player risk an injury in the pro bowl. Many of those selected to the Pro Bowl are selected more than once. Having the Pro Bowl after the Super Bowl makes so much more sense and in my mind it is not anti-climactic.

I would think this choice should be left up to the players and the fans. Its an honorary game with only really pride to play for. The winners get a cash prize as the losers do also. I say put the Pro Bowl after the Super Bowl like it was years ago.
